FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- How long does it take?
- Most sessions run 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how much there is to discuss. It moves at your pace, one question at a time.
- Can I pause and come back?
- Yes. Your progress is saved after each answer, so you can leave and pick up exactly where you left off.
- Who receives the report?
- You always receive your own developmental report. If an organization sponsored your assessment, they receive a separate report written for their decision. You are told which applies before the interview begins.
- Does this replace human judgment?
- No. The report is built to inform a hiring, promotion, or development conversation, not to make the decision on its own.
- How much does it cost?
- Individual assessments and development plans are free while the product is in launch. Organizations that want to run assessments across a team use a paid team plan, which is in early access now.
- How do organizations use it?
- Organizations bring evidence and consistency to hiring, promotion, and succession decisions, and support ongoing development. When an organization sponsors an assessment, it receives a separate evaluation written for that decision, and you are told before the interview begins.
- How are the 16 dimensions actually scored?
- Each of the 16 competency dimensions gets a 1-to-10 score, a confidence level (low, medium, high), and an evidence note explaining what it was based on. A dimension the interview never meaningfully probed is marked not evaluated rather than guessed at. See /methodology for the full explanation.
- Is this scientifically validated, or can it predict my career ceiling?
- No. The report describes the highest scope of responsibility the evidence supports today, not a prediction of your ultimate potential. Formal validation and an adverse-impact or bias audit are work in progress, not work we claim to have finished -- see /trust for exactly where that stands.
- What happens to my answers during the interview?
- Your conversation is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate follow-up questions and, at the end, your report. It is not sent anywhere else. See /privacy and /security for the full data-handling picture.
- Can my manager or employer see my report without my knowledge?
- Only if you accepted a manager's team invitation or your organization sponsored the assessment -- and you are told which applies before the interview begins. You can revoke a manager's or organization's access to a given report from your account at any time.
- Can I correct or contest a conclusion in my report?
- Yes. From your account you can flag a misunderstood conclusion, add clarifying evidence, or report a factual error. Every request is recorded and reviewed; there is no automated or guaranteed-turnaround review process yet, and we say so plainly rather than implying one.
- Can I delete my data?
- You can request deletion of your account, conversation, and reports from your account. There is no automatic deletion policy today -- data is otherwise retained for as long as your account exists. See /security for the full picture.
- What's the difference between the Individual, Manager Beta, and Organization plans?
- Individual is free during launch for anyone assessing themselves. Manager Beta is free for a manager assessing up to 8 direct reports. Organization is a custom, priced-around-your-headcount plan for multi-team use. See /pricing for the full breakdown.
- Where can I see what a completed report actually looks like?
- The full sample report at /sample-report uses the same layout and sections a real report does, filled with clearly labeled illustrative data.
