At the PM level, AI-era product leadership means shipping at least one AI-involving feature with an understanding of its real limitations: hallucination risk, data quality, human-in-the-loop requirements, and what happens when the model is wrong. The evidence is a real feature, a real failure mode considered, and a real outcome.

Shipped an AI feature with explicit consideration of what happens when the model fails
Designed a human-in-the-loop check for an AI output before showing it to users
Defined the evaluation criteria for an AI model's behavior before shipping

A real interview probe at this level

“What happens in your product when the AI is confidently wrong, and how did you design for that?”

A well-calibrated answer to this probe names a real decision, a real tradeoff, and a real outcome. Generic process descriptions do not hold up to follow-up.
